Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Meghani Capital, LLC (“Meghani Capital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through meghanicapital.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter:
- First and last name — required
- Email address — required
- Phone number — optional
- Accredited investor status — required; a yes or no answer only. We do not collect income figures, net worth, account numbers, or verification documents through this website.
- Investment interest — the category you select
- Message — optional free text; please do not include sensitive financial or identifying details here
You may also contact us directly by email or phone, in which case we receive whatever information you choose to share.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics data — pages viewed, time on page, referring site, approximate geographic location derived from IP address, and device and browser type, collected through a third-party website analytics service.
- Security and delivery data — IP address and standard server log information recorded by our hosting and content-delivery provider, and signals used by our anti-bot service to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic.
What we do not collect
This website does not process payments, does not create user accounts, and does not host investor documents. We do not knowingly collect biometric data, precise geolocation, or government identification numbers through this site.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it
- To evaluate whether an investment opportunity may be appropriate for you, including whether you qualify as an accredited investor
- To send information about current or future offerings when you have asked for it
- To operate, secure, and improve this website
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to private securities offerings
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses two kinds of cookies:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always set.
- Analytics cookies — first-party cookies set by our analytics provider to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. These are only set if you accept them. They are not used to serve advertising.
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics cookies. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary cookies is set unless you choose “Accept analytics.” If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected.
You can change your mind at any time. Select “Cookie Preferences” at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and accept or decline. Withdrawing consent stops analytics collection and clears the analytics cookies already stored on your device.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from using any part of this site.
Because there is no consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, this website does not currently respond to them.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only as described below, and only to the extent needed:
- Service providers that operate this website on our behalf. These fall into four categories: website hosting and content delivery, automated-abuse protection for our contact form, email delivery of contact form submissions, and website analytics. Each provider is permitted to process your information only to perform services for us, under contractual terms restricting any other use.
- Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, auditors, and administrators bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and regulatory recipients, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or regulatory request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Our investor portal is separate
Our investor portal is hosted by a third-party provider on a different website. When you follow the “Investor Login” link, you leave meghanicapital.com and the information you provide there is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and terms, not this one. The same is true of any social media platform you reach through links on this site.
5. How long we keep information
We keep contact form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you, maintain our business relationship, and satisfy the legal, tax, and securities recordkeeping obligations that apply to us. Where information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we delete it or render it non-identifying. Analytics data is retained according to the retention period configured with our analytics provider.
6. How we protect information
This site is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections, contact form submissions are transmitted over encrypted channels, and our form is protected by an anti-bot check to limit automated abuse. Access to inquiries is limited to Meghani Capital personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — confirm whether we process your information and obtain a copy
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate information
- Deletion — ask us to delete information you provided
- Portability — obtain your information in a portable format
- Opt out — of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. As noted above, we do not engage in these activities.
Texas residents. The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives Texas residents the rights listed above. To exercise them, email info@meghanicapital.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that period once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to an appeal within 60 days and, if we deny it, will tell you how to contact the Texas Attorney General.
Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have comparable rights. We honor verified requests on the same basis regardless of where you live. Exercising these rights will never result in discriminatory treatment.
Some information cannot be deleted on request where we are legally obligated to retain it — for example, records tied to a securities offering.
8. Children
This website is intended for adults evaluating private investment opportunities. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links to other websites
This site links to third-party websites, including our investor portal and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revised version will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Material changes will be identified more prominently where appropriate. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
